Paintshop sent me a car that was media blasted by another local vendor 2 years ago, it was painted in the so-called "protective coating" this vendor advertises, and, when I put it on my Rotisserie to re-blast it, I thought I would just have to dust off the surface rust! Was I wrong! I had to reblast the entire car as indicated by these photos attached. You get what you pay for, if you want the $500.00 media blast job, you don't hire me, I will never do shoddy work like this, ever! DR Blast, Media Blasting Undercoating remains from previous media blasting.

Lack of attention to detail yields sloppy work like this. See the factory undercoating on this E Body? I never would let this out of my shop like this! See more undercoating? Notice where the rust comes through; this is from excessive blasting on the metal, and, perhaps too thin of a "protective coating" (sad thing, they don't tell you what their "protective coating" is). Notice around the wheelhouses where they meet the floor pans, this is rubber gunk from the factory. At this age, it was solidified and just scraped off. Why didn't the other media blaster remove this stuff? I did!
